ATTENTION! DEAR APPLICANTS, OUR APPLICATION PROCESS HAS CHANGED!

Applications to the Viru Film Fund are accepted on a rolling basis. Submitted applications are reviewed twice a year, with review periods starting on 1 March and 1 October. The processing time for applications is up to 30 days from the start of the review period. During the review process, applicants have the opportunity to present their application to the Film Fund council in an online meeting.

We reimburse up to 40% of the expenses incurred in Ida-Virumaa.
We make a funding decision within 30 days.
The annual budget of the Viru Film Fund grant round is 200,000 euros.

Application process

• Before submitting an application, be sure to familiarize yourself with the application conditions. Download the Viru Film Fund statute.
• To receive support from the Viru Film Fund, you must submit a signed application along with the required supplementary documents
• The application and supplementary documents will be reviewed by a fund representative. We will contact you in case of additional questions.
• The Viru Film Fund council will make a decision regarding the submitted applications within 30 days.
• The applicant will have the opportunity to present their project to the Viru Film Fund council.
• After a decision is made by the Viru Film Fund council, a co-financing agreement is signed with the applicants of the approved projects.
• Then you can start implementing your project 🙂
• If you have already received support, download the Viru Film Fund logo and add it to the end of your work.

Reporting and payment of support

• Support payment is made based on the report documents submitted and signed by the applicant (you must submit the expense report, content report and supplementary documents – invoices, payment orders, contracts, general ledger, etc.).
• All activities and expenses planned to be done in Ida-Virumaa must be completed by the time the report is submitted.
• The report and supplementary documents will be checked. We will contact you in case of additional questions.
• The compliant report is approved by the Viru Film Fund council.
• After receiving the decision from the fund council, the support is paid to the applicant.
